Federal Programs

The Lewisburg Area School District offers various learning support programs through the use of funds from the U.S. Department of Education.
Title I funds are used to operate our Remedial Reading Program in grades K-8. The Remedial Reading Program is designed to improve reading skills and help students to achieve at proficient levels in the regular curriculum.
Title II dollars are used for many professional development activities for our teaching staff.
Title III funds are used to support English Language Learner Programs across the district.
IDEA funds are used to offset the cost of Special Education Programs for students that require an Individualized Education Program
