The Donald H. Eichhorn Middle School is a true middle school that focuses on the needs of preadolescent children. The school was recognized as one of the finest in the nation when it received the National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence from the United States Department of Education in 2002 and as a Schools to Watch Site by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform in 2010.
The school houses grades six through eight and features grade level teaching teams with a rigorous curriculum for the students. The exploratory approach to education at this level allows students to grow and develop as they experience several learning opportunities.
Our doors open at 7:15 am each school day. Students may head to their lockers and homerooms at 7:40, and are marked tardy if they arrive in homeroom after 7:45. Our dismissal process begins at 2:40 pm.
