Federal Programs

The Lewisburg Area School District offers various learning support programs through the use of funds from the U.S. Department of Education.

Our Title 1 Funds are used at Kelly Elementary to provide remedial reading and mathematics instruction for students in grades 1-3 through a targeted intervention program.

Our Title II Funds help us to provide professional development for our professional teaching staff.

Our Title III Funds are used in a consortium agreement with the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU #16) to provide ESL professional development for district staff.

Our Title IV Funds are used to provide Student Support and Academic Enrichment resources for our students.

IDEA funds are used to offset the cost of Special Education Programs for students that require an Individualized Education Program.
