Information concerning the Weekend Ski Trip for this winter season.
Stratton Mt. and Mt. Snow on February 7th, 8th, and 9th 2020 – We will be traveling to Vermont and skiing Stratton Mountain on Saturday and Mt. Snow on Sunday. We will be staying in a hotel in Brattleboro Vt.
Complete, Sign and Turn In the Health History/medical form and if needed the Self-Administering Medical Release form. Turn in the health form to Mr. Temple in the athletic office or room 207.
Steps to register a high school student for the trip:
In order to be registered for a trip, a student must complete ALL THREE of the following steps. Failure to complete all of the three steps will result in the student not being added to the list and they miss out since the trip sign-up is on a first come first serve basis.
1. PARENTS must digitally complete and digitally sign the
Weekend Registration and Waiver form
Students are not to fill out the registration form, but they should be aware of the school rules and policies detailed in the waiver form.
2. Health Form

please mark your envelope with the student’s name and “ski club” so that the office doesn’t have to open the envelopes.
3. PAYMENT: Turn in cash or a check made payable to “Lewisburg Area School District”
Families with multiple children going on the trip may combine payments into one check.
- Provide a deposit or full payment – TOTAL COST OF THE TRIP: $325.00
Deposit = $100.00 by November 22nd
2nd Payment = $235 by January 3rd
Students may pay all at once, or with two payments.

Sign-ups will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis due to the limited number of seats on a bus. If enough students sign up we may increase to two buses. However, a waiting list will be established until the status of the second bus is determined.
Fees are non-refundable. Students must notify the Ski Club Advisor prior to the scheduled ski trip if they will be unable to attend. Deposits will not be returned unless the advisor can secure another student to take the open seat.
Trip Itinerary and price inclusions: Round-trip motor coach to and from Lake Placid
- Two (2) nights accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express, Brattleboro Vermont
- Two Continental Breakfasts
- One Dinner
- all-day, all-mountain lift tickets to Mt. Snow and Stratton Mountain
Rentals are available for students without their own equipment at an additional cost.

In order to be considered as a chaperone, adults must complete the following clearances, submit them to Paula Young in the district office and get school board approval as a volunteer.
Clearances required are:
Act 34 Clearance – PA State Police Criminal History
Act 151 Clearance – Child Abuse
Act 114 Clearance – FBI National Criminal History or Affidavit
Mantoux TB Test
Mandated Reporter Training
